The Naturally Smarter Homes Project is designed to address home sustainability based on household and community participation.  The overall aims of the project are to

  • encourage homeowners to keep good records on their homes highlighting the naturally smarter choices they have already made
  • support homeowners to make choices that will further enhance the value, performance, health and overall sustainability of their home and property
  • gather and create a database of useful local information that will help other homeowners within the area
  • facilitate workshops that will promote and enhance further collective learning

This pilot project is an extension of the Sustainable Paremoremo Project and is currently being run in conjunction with the

North Shore City Council’s Naturally Smarter Programme.  It is due to be completed by June 2010.
