We, at DOWN TO EARTH REAL ESTATE, know that there are ALOT of you out there living in many different homes in our community! We have the pleasure of visiting, listing and selling some of these home and meeting some of you, who like us, are interested in our environment, what’s in it and most importantly how to look after it!
These homes are your ENVIRONMENT! You may have a flower garden, vegetable garden and definitely many other inhabitants who have made their homes in and around your house, section or land.
Birds, bees, butterflies, moths, caterpillars, worms and much, much more are living around your house, underground and up in the trees! With our EARTH KIDS page we will be identifying these creatures who are making their homes about us, learning about the good bugs that help our gardens and the not so good bugs that might need squishing!!
There is also the RECYCLING of household rubbish to be aware of. This is highly important to help the greater environment. We’ll have interesting facts, figures and activities for you on the EARTH KIDS to learn from and adopt into your everyday way of living…
WATER is a big environmental issue. We need to sustain our supply, so we’ll have helpful tips on how to do that too!
As we live on an island, many of us look at the water or live very close to so many gorgeous beaches! This also needs to be learnt about and we need to look after the beaches and surrounding ocean which is a huge part of our lifestyle in New Zealand!
Puzzles, jokes, fun-facts and prizes with be a part of our page and you’ll be able to share any tales from your own environment with us, ANYTIME, by e-mailing ‘EARTH KIDS’(on the subject line) at barb@downtoearthre.co.nz We’d LOVE to hear from you!
