September is the first month since February 2011 that the sales volumes have dropped below last year’s figures for the same period. There were 45 sales in total compared to 51 sales in September last year, 69 the year before and 30 sales in 2008. The highest number of sales within the last 5 years was in 2007 where there were 72 sales in Albany.
The number of residential sections sold in September was the highest this year with 12 settling for the month. Last month 10 sections sold however prior to that the number of sections sold had been significantly lower. The average sales price for the month of September was $573,077. This area covers Albany and Albany Heights.
